Who are we and why should you choose us?

Hi, we’re Alex and Christie – the husband-and-wife team behind AC DC Southern Highlands Trade Services. Alongside a close family friend, we’ve been helping Southern Highlands locals since 2020, after many years of working in Sydney. In 2025 we brought all of our skills together under one name to create a service you can really trust.

Alex is our head technician and director. He’s been working in roof plumbing since 2012, became an electrician in 2018, and added security equipment to his skillset in 2021. He’s also handy with things like pizza ovens and epoxy work – if it needs building, fixing or improving, chances are he’s done it.

Christie runs the administrative side of the business. After managing and running other people’s businesses since 2014, she wanted to bring that experience home and start something of our own – a company built on transparency, care and good old-fashioned reliability.

Together, we offer a one-stop shop for electrical work, roof plumbing, HVAC/air conditioning, security equipment installation and handyman projects. Our promise is simple: we treat every home as if it were our own, and we keep our pricing fair so that quality trades aren’t out of reach for Southern Highlands families.
